Who Is Doug?
I have a deep belief that every person deserves the opportunity to breakthrough common obstacles to become more impactful, fulfilled and confident. I have served as an advisor to civic leaders, senior executives, and entrepreneurs seeking a trusted advocate that listens, instigates brilliance, and helps them realize their potential.
I began my professional life in the non-profit space as an entrepreneurial pastor, launching 3 faith communities and building a leadership development pipeline. I transitioned my passion for helping others into the coaching business Own The Room, where I eventually became COO building a global team with multiple offices. Certified as a master coach, I flew an average of 300K+ miles per year to work with executives and their teams at many of the world’s top companies including Google, Goldman Sachs, Meta, LinkedIn and Siemens.
After a sabbatical, I became a managing partner of a boutique consulting firm while beginning to build my own book of business. Today, I run my own coaching and consulting firm, and focus my energy only on clients who are doing their part to help humans thrive in some unique way. So if you’re an evil mastermind, look for another coach!
I live in New Hampshire with my wife, our four boys, a goldendoodle, a dozen eleven chickens and occasional foster babies. We enjoy all four seasons of outdoor fun especially hiking and skiing - I am a member of the AMC Four Thousand Footer Club (all the pics on this site are from my hikes!). Friday nights are for pizza.
